Tenacity and intuition is just the tip of the iceberg of RedOne’s success. For more than 30 years, the Moroccan producer and songwriter has created hits that move audiences in every corner of the world. Nadir Khayat, better known as RedOne, kicked off his music career in 1991 in Sweden where he sang and played guitar with local rock bands. But in 1995, he moved into the production and songwriting worlds, a move that would cause his influence to swell immensely
His music has an appeal that transcends borders, and attracts the world’s biggest artists who aim to expand their sound. In 2010, he launched a record label, RedOne Records, with Universal Music Group International. RedOne’s first signed artist, Mohombi, represents his intention to use music as the common thread between different cultures.
Hundreds of music artists have worked with RedOne, including Enrique Iglesias, Marc Anthony, U2, Lady Gaga, Pitbull, RBD, Michael Jackson, Akon, Mary J. Blige, Usher, J. Lo, Nicki Minaj, French Montana, and Prince Royce.
